Cowes Jetty on Phillip Island was built in 1870 and remains a focal point of the town of Cowes. It is flanked by sheltered beaches which are a popular attraction for families. There are numerous facilities within walking distance from the pier including, toilets, barbeques and playgrounds.

Fishing is a major attraction to the Cowes Jetty with numerous fish species available.

Visitors may also like to catch a ferry across Western Port to Stony Point or to French Island and Seal Rocks. A great place for seal-spotting and watching the sunset.

Jumping and diving off the jetty and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects
